C1 2015: BAKA SIGURO YATA Gala Night 09NOV2015

BAKA SIGURO YATA Gala Night 09NOV2015

Synopsis:
Who knows what love is? The three couples in this odd rom-com, each a generation apart, only think they do, as they fumble through their awkward romances. Hilarity and heartache ensue in true screwball fashion.

What is love? This may be one of those few questions that either has no answer or no right or wrong one. You also assume that the older you get, the closer you get, too, to figuring it out. Not really, is what Joel Ferrer says.
The romantic screwball comedy Baka Siguro Yata follows three generations of couples as they grapple with the question in an attempt to understand it, to oftentimes funny and sometimes heartbreaking results. It’s a familiar narrative given a unique twist.
Baka Siguro Yata is the second feature of Ferrer. It stars Dino Pastrana, Ricky Davao, Cherie Gil, Trina Legaspi, and Boo Gabunada, with Alex Medina, Nicco Manalo, and Jerald Napoles. This is Ferrer’s second time to be a part of Cinema One Originals. He was the co-writer of Miko Livelo’s Blue Bustamante, one of the crowd favorites during Cinema One Originals 2013.
