15 March 2015: Philippine Airlines is spearheading a New York fun run to kick off its much awaited return to the Big Apple today.
The event, which has as theme ‘Run and Fly to New York, is organized by PAL and RUNRIO INC.
The race starts from 2 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Bonifacio Global City grounds.
The start and end point will be 34th street for all four distance run categories – the 3K, 5K, 10K and 16K.
An estimated 2,000 runners are expected to join.
Up for grabs for participating runners are flights to New York City, PAL’s 35th destination.
On March 15 – PAL’s founding anniversary – the flag carrier returns to the Big Apple with four weekly flights via Vancouver
