The 1K @ Amway Fun Run 2014 was held
January 26 at the Mall of Asia. It’s called 1k@Amway because for just
Php 1,000, they can be part of one of the largest and most successful
direct-selling companies in the world.
The cool 8km route was a breeze, mainly because of.... the cool breeze! Weather was great!
The LTP - PAL contingent, thanks to Miss Loida Flores of PAL Finance who arranged our registration.
The event served as the kick
off activity for Nutrilite’s 80th anniversary and first of the three
legs of the fun run. Nutrilite, a food suplement, is Amway’s biggest
brand. The race will also be held in Cagayan de Oro City on February 9
and Davao City on February 16.

REGISTRATION FEE
Php 200 for all categories. Race kit includes a bib and a race shirt. Finishers who are non business owners of Amway get to
sign-up as an Amway Distributor for Free. Special prizes at stake for the winners, including freebies and samplers.
A portion of the proceeds of the fun run will also go to the Amway’s
One by One
campaign as the global company partners with the Department of
Education in promoting the reading and literacy enrichment programs in
areas where they operate an Amway
distribution center.
Celebrity actor Enchong Dee, who is now an Independent Business Owner (IBO) of Amway, ran the 8km distance. Much to my disappointment, he didn't run in long-sleeve, tie, and leather shoes.
Enchong Dee wasn't the only celebrity runner to run in the Amway event.
