My first Virgin Labfest 2014 experience was a reading of `Nocturne',
written by Juan Ekis and directed by Emman dela Cruz, starring Thea Gloria and Russell Legaspi. I'd invite you all to watch these great
performances by Thea and Russell, but it was only a
one-day-showing piece, held Saturday evening, 6pm at the Bulwagang Amado Hernandez at the CCP.
From the internet:
"NOCTURNE" By Juan Ekis Cast: Thea Gloria (Maya) and Russell Legaspi (Glenn) Dec 21, 2012 -- the world is about to end and two artist friends wait patiently on top of a Manila skyscraper to see if the Mayans were correct. As Maya tries yo convince that their waiting for the end is in vain, she discovers that Glenn knew everything about the disapperance of her husband who climbed up the mountains for one last photograph.
